Super Street Fighter II: Turbo is considered to be one of the most legendary fighting games in video game history. Super Street Fighter II: Turbo came out in ’94 and since its release various fighting games ended up emulating its style in terms look and gameplay. Super Street Fighter II Turbo was probably one of the first fighting games to utilize Super Gauge which allowed players to perform Super Art moves with their different characters. Super Street Fighter II Turbo was also to very first game to feature the legendary Gouki also known as Akuma as a hidden but playable character. Super Street Fighter II: Turbo was a game that appealed to both casual and hardcore gamers along with the rest of the SFII series following its release. The learning curve for Super Street Fighter II: Turbo seemed basic compared to other fighting titles from the 90’s like Tekken, Guilty Gear or even the KOF series. Super Street Fighter II: Turbo also had iconic larger than life characters including Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Cammy White and others that are still very popular within the gaming community today. The gameplay for Super Street Fighter II: Turbo is still as addictive now like it was 30 years ago. Despite, not having a story the arcade mode is challenging enough to make players forget about what is was lacking in. Super Street Fighter II: Turbo has also been ported and remastered on multiple occasions for game systems like Game Boy Advance, PS3 and Xbox 360 which shows how popular the game still is.
