It has been rumored for the past week or so that Sonic Generations was going to be remastered and appear at the State of Play 2024 livestream. Not only did those rumors come true but Sega has decided to give everyone something better in the Sonic Generations remaster which includes Shadow the Hedgehog. It turns out that Sega decided to give Shadow the Hedgehog a brand new campaign with new skills and abilities with his own levels. Sonic X Shadow Generations was something different than what people were initially expecting but its cool that Sega has decided to involve the black hedgehog in another major Sonic title. The gameplay, graphics and art design for Sonic X Shadow Generations looks amazing and its set to be released for multiple game systems including PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Steam and Nintendo. Unfortunately, Sonic X Shadow Generations will not appearing on multiple game systems until Fall 2024.
