Rumble Roses XX is one of the few pro wrestling games from the 2000’s that stood because it was produced by Konami and included an all-female roster of fictional characters. Rumble Roses XX was also one of the few non-WWE titles that was designed to appeal to a casual audience of gamers who were hardcore pro wrestling fans back in the 2000’s. Rumble Roses XX was the sequel to the original entry within it series which came out in ’04 and despite its improved gameplay it lacked a story mode which may have hurt the overall quality of the game. The graphics and arcade styled gameplay for Rumble Roses XX were probably the best features that it had. Despite, Rumble Roses XX being made available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X between ’18-’21 the game never received an official remake. It also seems like Konami has no interest whatsoever on producing a sequel for Rumble Roses XX either. Konami’s most popular IP’s include the likes of Castlevania and the Metal Gear Series which has made the video game developer millions in over the three decades. The Rumble Roses games from ’04-’06 were both considered to be commercial failures and did not appeal to casual gamers as much as Konami thought it would have back in the 2000’s.
