It seems like 2024 is going to be a year where indie games shine more opposed to 2023 which was full of high profile video game releases. There were a lot of cool things that came out of The Game Awards 2023 on Dec 7h including the revelation an upcoming title set to be released in 2024 called Zenless Zone Zero. We got an official trailer for Zenless Zone Zero at The Game Awards 2023 and it looks very interesting to say very least. Zenless Zone Zero will be developed by a Chinese video game company miHoYo and will be published worldwide by HoYoverse sometime in 2024 on a date has yet to be revealed. Based on what we know Zenless Zone Zero will be an action role-playing hack and slash game with rougelike elements with setting taking place in a post-apocalyptic metropolis known as New Eridu. Zenless Zone Zero focuses on exploring multiple alternate dimensions and recruiting characters throughout the game as they fight the Ethereal along with various adversaries. The addition of team members contributes to players increasing their attack power as they combine the skills and abilities of each person within the party. As it currently stands Zenless Zone Zero is only set to be released for Microsoft Windows, iOS and Android and has not been announced for an appearance on consoles like the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.
