Resident Evil 4: Remake is one of hottest survival horror video games of 2023 reaching at least five million copies in worldwide sales since its release back in March of this year. Resident Evil 4: Remake despite its popularity has seemingly been overshadowed by Alan Wake 2 within the past couple of weeks now especially since the game has a higher Metascore. Even though, more people are shifting their attention to Alan Wake 2 in relation to the survival horror genre of gaming it seems like Capcom will be adding a new virtual reality feature to Resident Evil 4: Remake. It has recently been announced that Capcom will be adding a new VR Mode to Resident Evil 4: Remake which is suppose to be available on December 8th. There is no question that the VR Mode for Resident Evil 4: Remake will give the game somewhat of an edge over Alan Wake 2 which does not include virtual reality gameplay. It should also be noted that the VR Mode in Resident Evil 4: Remake will allow players to journey through the game’s story mode as Leon Kennedy from a first person perspective adding more realism to the game itself. The virtual reality gameplay for Resident Evil 4: Remake will include 4K HDR Display courtesy of the PlayStation VR2 and will be available as a free update and can only be utilized by PS5 owners.
