It looks like 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year in relation to indie games especially considering the fact that Core Keeper is coming to the Nintendo Switch. For those who are unaware Core Keeper was released on Steam back in Spring 2022 and is a sandbox adventure mining game that allows up to eight different players in one game. Core Keeper is developed by Pugstorm and published by Fireshine Games and was one of the more impressive indie titles of 2022 when it was first released. Many people praised the retro styled pixel art of Core Keeper along with the various level designs full of various creatures and relics that players have to combat as they explore different parts of the game. Core Keeper looks like a game that would stand out on the Nintendo Switch considering the fact that it caters more towards children than adults. Core Keeper might get overshadowed by the first party titles on the Switch console like any of the Mario games and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom but it will end up gain more exposure in the process. The official release date for Core Keeper is still unknown but its something that hardcore indie gaming fans are talking about right now especially following the Nintendo Indie World Showcase that recently took place.
