Back in August 2023 we got to see the reveal trailer for Little Nightmares III and it has many people looking forward to its upcoming release in 2024. Little Nightmares III will be developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandi Namco Entertainment. Little Nightmares III will be released across multiple gaming platforms including PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X along with the Nintendo Switch. This upcoming game is going to be the sequel to the critically acclaimed Little Nightmares II title from 2021. Little Nightmares II managed to sell over one million copies worldwide since its release two years ago. However, Little Nightmares II had a different developer known as Tarsier Studios which also worked on the very first installment from 2017. Since Tarsier Studios will not have any involvement in Little Nightmares III many are curious on how gameplay and story for the game will be like in comparison to the previous two games. Little Nightmares III will feature two new characters named Low and Alone who are both children who are constantly trying to escape a dangerous threat in place called The Nowhere. Little Nightmares III is pretty unique because its a puzzle platform game that also has the look and atmosphere of a survival-horror title. Little Nightmares III will have 2.5D graphics and allow co-op gameplay that works both online and locally. As it currently stands Little Nightmares III does not have an official release date just yet but it looks very promising and is shaping up to be one of the top upcoming video games of 2024.
