It seems like 2023 has been a great year for gaming and there have been countless title released since January that all have “Game of the Year” potential. One of the many games that ended up being very impressive so far that is most likely going to get overshadowed in relation to 2023 is Little Goody Two Shoes. For those who do not know Little Goody Two Shoes was released back on October 9th for multiple game systems including PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch. Little Goody Two Shoes is a very unique video game to say the least due to its 90’s aesthetics in relation to both anime and pixel art. Little Goody Two Shoes is a 90’s inspired narrative adventure game where players take control of a female protagonist names Elise. Players control Elise to travel through various wooded areas while solving puzzles and fighting to survive as her dream life becomes a dark journey. Little Goody Two Shoes looks like something from you would see on the PS1 during the mid 90’s but ten times better. It also rare to see a pixelated horror adventure video game that pays homage to the 90’s nowadays.

Little Goody Two Shoes is not nearly as popular as titles such as Diablo IV, Baulder’s Gate III, Final Fantasy XVI and others but its a game that could have stood out more if it were released in 2022. While Final Fantasy XVI was without a doubt Square Enix’s biggest game of 2023 Little Goody Two Shoes seems more interesting in general. While Little Goody Two Shoes looks very impressive for an indie game it also could also end up getting overshadowed by Sea of Stars which came out back in August 2023. Sea of Stars is more of a turn-based RPG which many believe is obsolete today due to the growing popularity of action role-playing games. Also Sea of Stars is not nearly as dark as Little Goody Two Shoes.
