Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was one of the most highly anticipated video games of 2023 and it seems very likely that it will end up becoming the best video game of the year. Everyone knew that Marvel Spider-Man 2 was going to be a big deal but no one expected the game to reach at least 2.5 million copies in sales within the first 24 hours of its release. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released on October 20th and the price for the standard version of the game was set at $69.99. The Deluxe Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is priced at $79.99 which some people find very expensive. But then again we are talking about the sequel to the critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man title from 2018 which sold 20 million copies worldwide on the PlayStation 4. For the most part critics had nothing but great things to say about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 despite the Cuban flag controversy surrounding the Puerto Rican Spider-Man character Miles Morales. While Insomniac Games has vowed to fix the design of Miles Morales apartment its still something that made headlines across the gaming world. However, its unlikely that the minor error concerning the Cuban Flag is something that is going to ruin the overall quality of the game. It will be interesting to see how much sales increase during the holiday season going into the first half of 2024.
