Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the most highly anticipated video games of the 2020’s and many people are looking forward to see how its going to follow the universally acclaimed GTA V game from 2013. We already know that Grand Theft Auto 6 will have two main characters name Lucia and Jason and the setting is supposed to take place somewhere in a fictional location resembling Miami. In the past few the gaming community have done nothing but talk about the potential release date of Grand Theft Auto 6 along with its potential map size and how its likely going to be bigger than what Rockstar gave us in GTA V. Its almost certain that Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to appear on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC but it seems unlikely that it will be ported for the Nintendo Switch 2 console. Grand Theft Auto V was never ported to the Wii-U or the Nintendo Switch mainly because it was an “M” rated video game. Nintendo consoles generally appeal to children and the best selling games normally include Mario and Zelda games because of how the are marketed and promoted by the company itself. Rockstar Games has generally made a majority of their profit from games like Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 on consoles like the PlayStation 4. The idea of Grand Theft Auto 6 being ported to Switch or Nintendo’s next generation console seems unlikely since its not nearly as popular as the PlayStation 5 is right now. The GTA series has always been a big attraction on PlayStation consoles since the early 2000’s and something that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
