Everyone knows that Lollipop Chainsaw was set to get a remake and supposed to be re-released sometime this year. Unfortunately, the release for the Lollipop Chainsaw Remake was delayed and is expected to appear on multiple game systems sometime in 2024. Lollipop Chainsaw is considered to be a cult classic by a niche audience of gamers who were fans of the hack n slash genre of gaming. There also some people who were intrigued by the storyline featuring the eighteen year old high school cheerleader Juliet Starling. Despite, its low sales Lollipop Chainsaw ended up becoming one of the more underrated video games from the 2010’s. A direct sequel for Lollipop Chainsaw is unlikely to happen and seems like the delay for its remake has been overshadowed by high profile video game releases of 2023. The release of games like Diablo 4, Hogwarts Legacy, FFXVI and Baulder’s Gate 3 were among the top video game releases of 2023. Lollipop Chainsaw being pushed back to 2024 will probably be a good thing since the game is less likely to be overshadowed by anything in the upcoming year. For those who never got a chance to play Lollipop Chainsaw for PS3 & Xbox 360 in 2012 they will have the opportunity to experience a hack n slash survival horror title unlike anything they have seen before. Lollipop Chainsaw RePop is expected on game systems including PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PC during Summer 2024 with a date and price that has yet to be revealed.
