Its hard to believe that Roblox had been around for almost two decades now and is something that is still popular in modern day gaming. There are many people who enjoy Roblox because it allows them to be creative while sharing their ideas and creations to the online gaming community. Roblox has been on PC since the mid-2000’s and its one of the most well know casual friendly video games on the market right now. During the 2010’s decade Roblox hardly got any exposure on any game console aside from the Xbox One back in 2015. Roblox looked like a game that could have been popular on game systems like the Wii-U or Nintendo Switch considering how it appealed to more to children than it did the adult audience. As it currently stands Roblox is going to be made available to the PS5 and PS4 in October 2023 which is something many people are very excited about. Roblox should have been ported for the PS4 console during the 2010’s decade since it was the most popular game system of its era. The PS4 console was released in Q4 2013 and it considered to be old since it came out ten years ago. A PS5 release of Roblox is something that sounds promising considering the fact that millions of people still play it. In fact, was reported that Roblox earned $2.2 billion in revenue in 2022 and averaged in making $2 million per day on iOS alone. Roblox is still a massive attraction even in the 2020’s decade and can only gain more active players within the upcoming year being on both the PS5 and PS4. While there is so much competition within the gaming world especially on the PS5 Roblox is a game that caters to casuals outside of the action-adventure or action role-playing genre. Roblox has the potential to standout more so than any other game on the PS5 2024 because there are hardly any high profile game system creation genre titles on Sony’s ninth generation console right now.
