We are on the tail end of 2023 and it seems like next year is shaping up to be an exciting year for video game releases as well. We recently just learned on Nintendo’s most recent direct presentation that Luigi’s Mansion 2 will be getting remastered and re-released in HD sometime in 2024. For those who do not know Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon was the second installment within its series was released a decade ago for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2013. Ever since the release of the original Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon game it has managed to reach over six million copies in sales and was one of the most popular Nintendo 3DS titles of 2013. Despite, not having the same level of commercial success as Luigi’s Mansion 3 from 2019 the Dark Moon game was one that fans have fond memories of. In fact, some would argue that Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon deserved a Wii-U release back in 2013 considering how popular the original Luigi’s Mansion title was for GameCube back in 2001. Based on what is presented in the reveal trailer for Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon the graphics and overall gameplay quality looks ten times better than the original version of the game. However, its uncertain on whether or not Nintendo is going to add bonus content to the Luigi’s Mansion2 HD for the Switch console. Hopefully, we will receive more details concerning the upcoming release of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD in the future.
