Street Fighter 6 has been considered to be one of the best fighting games of 2023 thus far along with Mortal Kombat 1. Street Fighter 6 has everything a die hard fan of the fighting genre could ask for including an intriguing storyline, larger than life characters, nice gameplay and alluring aesthetics. It was reported back in July 2023 that Street Fighter 6 had sold over 2 million copies in sales since it appeared on game systems such as PS5, Xbox Series X and Microsoft Windows. While the PS5 and Xbox Series X are very popular right now there are many people who own Switch consoles and would love to see Street Fighter 6 ported to Nintendo’s handheld game system. While the Nintendo Switch lacks 4K resolution in comparison to its competitors porting Street Fighter 6 to the handheld console is something that could potentially help with sales. It should be noted Mortal Kombat 1 which came out on September 14th was ported to the Nintendo Switch along with the PS5, Xbox Series X and Microsoft Windows meaning that the game has the potential to possibly sell more than Street Fighter 6. Capcom has not revealed any plans to bring Street Fighter 6 to the Switch console anytime soon. However, if Capcom ever considers bringing Street Fighter 6 to a Nintendo console they should probably wait until the Switch 2 is released since its supposed to be as powerful as the PlayStation 5.
