The early 2010’s was such a great time to be alive whether you were a kid, teenager or an adult because entertainment felt much better back in the day. If you were a kid during the early 2010’s had the option of playing video gams like Toy Story 3 for consoles such as the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Toy Story 3 game was developed by Avalanche Software and published by Disney Interactive Entertainment. The Toy Story 3 game came out alongside with the movie which ended up becoming a massive box office success earning over $1 billion revenue with $200 million. Toy Story 3 ended being a much better game than anyone could have expected and had a pretty decent and fun story mode. The story mode in the Toy Story 3 video game allowed players to control likes of Woody, Buzz Lightyear along with Jessie. While the each version of the Toy Story 3 game was slightly different depending on whether you bought for the PS3, Nintendo Wii, PSP or Xbox 360 port. There are many people who have fond memories of the PS3 and Wii versions of Toy Story 3 mainly because the game felt highly adventurous which when you played through Buzz Lightyear’s levels. There were various points of the Toy Story 3 game were players engaged in third-person shooter gameplay as Buzz Lightyear which was pretty cool. The level designs in Toy Story 3 were also pretty cool especially towards the beginning when you played as Woody in the desert/train stage. The soundtrack for the Toy Story 3 game sounded like something you would hear in a actual movie and it actually had voice over acting unlike the Epic Mickey which also came out in 2010 for the Wii console. The Toy Box mode outside of the story was also fun because it presented players with an open world environment full of exciting missions and mini-games which added to the overall replay value of the Toy Story 3 game. The fact that Toy Story 3 was as popular as it was during early 2010’s was impressive especially since the Toy Story 2 move came out 1999 and the series was on a hiatus for at least a decade. Even though, we got a Toy Story 4 movie back in 2019 a video game was never created for it despite it drawing over $1 billion in box office revenue. As it currently stands Toy Story 3 is the last main entry within its video game series and a game that definitely worth checking out.
