The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is considered to be one of the greatest games to have emerged from the 2010’s decade. The Witcher III: Wild Hunt had everything a hardcore gamer would look for in a action role-playing game including amazing visuals, fantastic world design along with more than 30 different endings which added to its overall replay value. The Witcher III: Wild Hunt was created by the same developer who worked on Cyberpunk 2077 known as CD Projekt Red. The Witcher III was the sequel to the critically acclaimed Witcher II game from 2011 and it ended up exceeding the expectations of many people following its release. During the 2010’s it ended up becoming the fourth best selling video game for the PlayStation 4 reaching over ten million copies in sales worldwide. Ever since its initial release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC back in 2015 The Witcher III has been ported to multiple game systems including the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X. During the time span of at even years The Witcher III: Wild Hunt ended up reaching at least 50 million copies in sales across all gaming platforms. Despite, not selling nearly as much as Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from 2011 which reached over 60 million in sales The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is still considered to be one of the greatest action role playing games of all-time. One of the main issues that casual gamers would probably have with The Witcher III is the combat system mainly because takes a while learn and it feels similar to Dark Souls. For those who are into video games involving monster hunting outside of anything that Capcom has produced The Witcher III is a fun game with a compelling storyline with characters that players can easily get into. Its hard to believe that The Witcher III had a budget of around $81 million which is a ton of money but still pales in comparison to how much CD Projekt Red invested in Cyberpunk 2077.
