Everyone knows that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is one of the most highly anticipated video games of 2023. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been in development since 2021 and we have learned a lot about the upcoming action-adventure game since it was first revealed. We got to see gameplay footage of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 back in May 2023 and it looked very impressive. Recently, a new story trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was revealed and everything about it looked absolutely stunning. The official story trailer starts off with Peter Parker and Harry Osborn speaking with one another. Osborn talks about getting another chance at life because it was a well known fact that he was terminally ill following the events of the first Marvel’s Spider-Man game from 2018. Not only does Parker introduce Osborn to Mary-Jane Watson and Miles Morales but we also see footage of Kraven the Hunter along with Venom reeking. havoc during certain parts of the trailer.

One of the most eerie and unsettling parts of the story trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was fact that Peter Parker had seemingly got possessed by the symbiote which claimed that they were going to “heal the world”. Peter Parker being possessed by the the symbiote as Spider-Man gave off Spider-Carnage vibes and makes the storyline for this game even more intriguing. Between Kraven the Hunter, Venom and Peter Parker’s personal struggles there is lot going on within Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Not to mention the fact Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is supposed to have have side missions along with the main story which will definitely add to the overall replay value of this game. As it currently stands Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to be released this upcoming Fall on October 20th exclusively for the PlayStation 5. The question that many people have is whether or not the game is going to surpass its prequel relation to commercial sales. Marvel’s Spider-Man 1 for the PS4 was one of the best selling video games of the 2010’s reaching at least 20 million copies in sales since its release back in 2018.
