It seems like 2023 has been a great year for gaming in general thus far with so many high profile releases including Final Fantasy XVI, Diablo IV, Street Fighter 6, Hogwarts Legacy along with many other titles. An upcoming video game that the world is waiting to see is a professional soccer title called EA Sports FC 24 which is set be released on multiple gaming platforms including the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. EA Sports FC 24 will be developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be published by EA Sports. EA Sports will be utilizing the Frostbite 3 Engine. EA Sports FC 24 is a big deal mainly because the FIFA series is officially dead with the last entry of the series coming out this past year. FIFA and EA Sports had their contractual differences and decided to part ways back in 2022. While the FIFA series is considered to be legendary the EA Sports FC name is brand new and many people wonder how well this upcoming game will sell this upcoming Fall. The features for EA Sports FC 24 looks very promising features including HyperMotion V, AcceleRATE 2.0 and PlayStorm. The Clubs and VOLTA Football game mode in EA Sports FC 24 allows cross-play between different game platforms which is definitely going to turn on a lot of casuals. It will be interesting to see how much commercial success EA’s upcoming soccer game will have without the FIFA brand later this year.
