Its seems like 2023 has been a great year for the video game industry thus far and it seems like next year is going to be exciting as well. In terms of upcoming releases we have recently learned that Ubisoft will be releasing a brand new Star Wars title in 2024. It was revealed on the Xbox Games Showcase that Star Wars: Outlaws will be appearing on multiple game systems next year including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X along with PC. The Star Wars Outlaw game is an open-world third person shooter game and the story revolves a female protagonist named Kay Vess who a criminal looking for a life without oppression. While many are bummed about not seeing a trailer for the Star Wars: KOTOR remake an open-world title is something fans of the series could look forward too in the meantime. The official release date for Star Wars: Outlaws has yet to be revealed and we have yet to see an official gameplay trailer for this game. Unfortunately, Star Wars: Outlaws will not be backwards compatible with last generation game systems like the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One. Also, it was revealed that Star Wars: Outlaws was going to be a single-player only game. The storyline for Star Wars: Outlaws needs to be great especially if the game does not feature an online gameplay. Based on what we know the events of the Star Wars: Outlaw game set sometime between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi; while players travel across multiple planets within the galaxy. Hopefully, we will get an official gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Outlaws before the end of 2023.
