The anticipated release date for the pastel joy cons is June 30th and both sets have different colors schemes. One of the joy con sets are pink and yellow while the other one is purple and green. While the new joy cons for the Switch console looks nice many people believe that $80 is a bit expensive considering the fact that the Switch console has been around for a few years now. There are retailers like Walmart where customers can purchase regular joy con controllers from anywhere between $20-$40. Its likely that the average consumer will probably wait for the price of these new pastel joy cons to drop down to a reasonable price before purchasing them.
