As far as big news in relation to the Mortal Kombat series is concerned we have recently just learned that Nightwolf has recently been added to the MK 11 roster. This is something that many people are happy to see especially since Nightwolf has not appeared as a playable character in a Mortal Kombat game since MK 9. A new trailer featuring Nightwolf was shown at EVO 2019 and will be another DLC character along with the likes of Sindel Spawn and Shung Tsung. Even though, Nightwolf might not be as popular as some other characters such as Liu Kang, Sonya, Kitana, Johnny Cage and others he is still an older character from the series who has been around for over two decades now. Nightwolf first appeared in Mortal Kombat III in 1995 and even though that particular installment was not as popular as the first two games from the 90’s he was considered to be an interesting character at the time and still is today.
Nightwolf had a significant role in the story mode back in MK 9 and was definitely missed by some people when he was not including in Mortal Kombat X which came out in 2015. As it currently stands Nightwolf will become available as a DLC character starting on August 13th as a part of the Kombat Pack for MK11. There is no question that long time fans of the series are excited to see Nightwolf finally appear in the latest installment of the the Mortal Kombat series.
