As of right now its hard to predict whether or not Mega Mann 11 will end up selling more than Mega Man 10. When it comes down to sales it seems unclear on how much of a success Mega Man 10 was. After Mega Man 10 was released back in 2010 and if the game was considered a big success or sold millions worldwide Capcom probably would have made a sequel a lot sooner. But to be fair the Mega Man series is very old and started to lose some of its luster after the 90’s.

While the older Mega Man games generally included 8 or 16 bit graphics it seems like Capcom plans on doing with Mega Man 11 what Sega decided to do with Sonic the Hedgehog 4 back in 2010 in terms of gameplay and graphics. Since Capcom is willing to try something new with the Mega Man series it could be something that ends up paying off in the long run. Just like people waited for many years to see a direct sequel for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 the same is true for Mega Man 10. Hopefully, Capcom doesn’t make the same mistakes with Mega Man 11 that Level 5 Comcept and Inti Creates made with Mighty No. 9 prior to its release in 2016.
