When it came down to crossover fighting games Marvel vs Capcom 3 was probably one of the best titles that the world has seen back in the early 10’s. When the game was first released back in the Spring of 2011 it was ported for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. On both consoles Marvel vs Capcom 3 had managed to sell over one million units worldwide and was considered a success by many fans and critics.

However, those who only owned the Nintendo Wii never got a chance to enjoy Marvel vs Capcom 3 since it was not ported for that console. In terms of whether or not Marvel vs Capcom 3 would have worked on the Nintendo Wii is debatable. But at the same time not having a Wii version of Marvel vs Capcom 3 makes sense to some people considering the fact that we saw the release of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on that console back in 2008. In theory Marvel vs Capcom 3 could have definitely worked on the Wii but it’s questionable on whether or not it would have sold as much as the PS3 of the Xbox 360 versions of the game.
