For some reason it seems like the SNES games from the 90’s are more valuable than many games for the N64, GameCube, Nintendo Wii and the Wii-U. The games that are especially popular for the SNES are the ones that were released exclusively in Japan such as Seiken Densetsu 3, Fire Emblem 5, Final Fantasy V, Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, MegaMan and Bass along with others. In some ways the older SNES games from the 90’s that were Japanese exclusives are new in America.

Also, games such as Star Fox 2 which was originally cancelled back in the 90’s which is set to be re-released in September 2017 in some ways is considered a new game. Besides, when it comes down to 16 bit gaming the SNES had arguably the best graphics and soundtracks for various titles in many different genres. Since retro gaming is starting to become popular again it would be cool if the SNES started making brand new 16 bit video games for the SNES Classic.
