When it comes down to to the Mana series it always felt like the 2D titles that we have seen on consoles such as Game Boy Advance, SNES and the Nintendo DS seemed so much better in terms of quality and graphics. At one point during the 90’s the Secret of Mana was a major RPG title for the SNES. But ever since the 16 bit era it seems like Mana games that were featured on home based game consoles such as the PS2 never got as much attention or simply fell below the expectations of people were fans of the series.

It’s quite interesting that we have not seen any 2D Mana games for any home based consoles such as GameCube, N64, Wii, Wii U or the Nintendo Switch. It would be great to see 2D Mana titles on home based Nintendo consoles opposed to handheld devices all the time one Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo 3DS. Even though, the Mana games are fun to play for handheld consoles having some new titles could definitely attract a new demographic of gamers as well long time fans of the series if it’s marketed correctly for a game console like the Nintendo Switch.
