In terms of whether or not the cost of the new arcade joystick for Nintendo Switch is expensive doesn’t seem like much of a question.  After the cost of Nintendo’s new arcade joystick is the same as the current price for the joy cons which is also around $79.99.  The arcade joystick is something that the younger generation gamers might find interesting and something that retro gamers from the 80’s and 90’s will probably love if they currently own a Nintendo Switch.  

While some might argue that the old school arcade stick is out of style and should price for less then the Joy Con controllers it could play a role in adding to the overall value of the Nintendo Switch since companies like Sony and Microsoft are not too big on this with PS4 or the Xbox One.
