Recently, there has been talk about how well the Xbox One X might do in terms of sales once its released in November of 2017.    While some people say the Xbox One X is most likely going to be failure in terms of sales others think it will do fine.  However, looking at the  Xbox One X right now the price for the console itself is $499 along with the fact that the Microsoft is not placing an emphasis on virtual reality features for this game system.

In terms of pricing it could be said that Microsoft is making a similar mistake that Sony did with the PlayStation 3 when it was priced at $599 following its release in November 2006.  We also know that Microsoft does not plan on making features such virtual reality the central focus of the Xbox One X which could also hurt the sales of the console itself.  However, if Microsoft is confident that the Xbox One X can do great in terms of hardware sales with the price at $499 then we will all have to wait and see what happens in November of 2017.
