Everyone knows that the Crash N’ Sane Trilogy was released a few years ago in 2017 for multiple game systems. Since its release it has revived many people interest in the Crash Bandicoot series which started back in the mid 90’s. While the Crash N’ Sane Trilogy featured remakes of the first 3 entries within the series which came out between ’96-’98. There were many people who enjoyed the improved gameplay mechanics, level designs and modernized graphics which lead to the Crash N’ Sane Trilogy became popular during the late 2010’s. In fact, it has been recently reported that Crash N’ Sane Trilogy has reached at least 20 million copies sold worldwide across multiple game systems. Despite, Crash Bandicoot 4 from 2020 not getting as much mainstream attention as the N’Sane Trilogy it still managed to reach around five million in sales. The Crash Bandicoot series might never reach the level of popularity as it did back in the 90’s. The Crash Team Rumble game from 2023 ended up being a massive flop due to lack of interest in the game. Crash Bandicoot is better off as a 3D platform game opposed to an online multiplayer video game. As it currently stands we are waiting for Activision to announce and release with a Crash Bandicoot 5 in the future.
