Konami’s Silent Hill 2 Remake is quite possibly one of the most highly anticipated video games in relation to 2024. The modern day remake of the survival-horror classic is something that is more than 20 years in the making and its set to appear on the PlayStation 5 and Steam during the third quarter of this year. Konami was nice enough to not only give us an official release date for the Silent Hill 2 Remake but to also give viewers a 42 plus minute preview on what to expect in the upcoming game. The high resolution graphics, voice over acting look amazing and the dark and unsettling atmosphere of the Silent Hill 2 Remake look way better than many people expected. There is no question that the Silent Hill 2 Remake is going to be Konami’s biggest release of 2024 not to mention that we are supposed to be getting a new film later in the year based on the game. One of the biggest improvements Silent Hill 2 Remake that we are going to see in contrast to the original version of the game is the absence of loading screens which will make the game feel more smooth. The scheduled release date for the Silent Hill 2 Remake is October 8th and it rumored that the price for it be somewhere around the ball park of $69.99. There has be no word of the Silent Hill 2 Remake being ported to the Nintendo Switch but depending how much it sells it should definitely be considered for Switch 2.
