It seems like Marvel in general has been on role when it comes down to high profile video games within the past few years. Not only are Marvel games appealing to casuals but they have also been crushing DC in the process also. The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game from October 2023 was one of the best video games from last year and has sold more than Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League combined. While Sony’s Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game is still very popular many people are looking forward to Marvel Rivals which will be developed by NetEase Games. The Marvel Rivals game is supposed to be a hero shooter game that is expected to be released sometime in 2025. Based on what we know Marvel Rivals will be a 6v6 shooter game that will be available only on PC with a storyline that sees Doctor Doom as the main antagonist. Marvel Rivals will have a variety of selectable characters including: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Panther, Storm along with many other popular names. While the trailer for Marvel Rivals looks somewhat similar to Overwatch 2 many people have high hopes for the game along with its official launch in the future.
