It seems like the Suicide Squad has been gain a lot of mainstream attention lately. Back in January 2024 Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros Games released Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League a game that was heavily hyped in 2023. The latest Suicide Squad video game ended up disappointing many fans of the DC series and fell below the desired expectations of critics. In fact, Suicide Squad: The Justice League reportedly had lower sales the Gotham Knights game from 2022. While the Suicide Squad game had been receiving heavy criticism since late January 2024 it has really has not hurt the franchise in anyway. We recently learned that a new anime called Suicide Squad ISEKAI is supposed to be released sometime in 2024. We have seen Japanese trailers for Suicide Squad ISEKAI which is going to feature the likes of Harley Quinn, Peacemaker, Clayface, King Shark and Deadshot. Suicide Squad ISEKAI will be Rated TV-MA and animation looks almost as good as the Harley Quinn anime series from 2019. As it currently stands Suicide Squad ISEKAI has only one season and its unclear what platform the show will be streaming on. Hopefully, we will learn more details about the new Suicide Squad anime before its rumored release in July 2024.
