Baldur’s Gate 3 is without a doubt one of the most popular RPG’s that we have seen within the past several years. As it currently stands Baldur’s Gate 3 is probably the best RPG title of 2023 receiving nothing but high ratings and positive reviews from both gamers and critics alike. Ever since its initial PC release back in August 2023 Baldur’s Gate 3 has appeared on almost every game system available with the exception of the Nintendo Switch. While Baldur’s Gate 3 is clearly “M” rated the game itself could definitely gain more exposure on the Switch console considering how much the console has sold within the past six years. Even though, the Nintendo Switch is more for children opposed to the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X which caters to adults Nintendo’s hybrid console could use more variety in terms of themes and genres. Baldur’s Gate 3 looks like a game that appeals more to PS5 and PC users mainly because its not campy and commercial friendly as a majority of first party Nintendo games you see either in the Mario or Zelda series. When it comes down to Baldur’s Gate 3 the game appeals mainly to a young adult audience who approve of various aspects of the game including its graphics, storytelling along with its single and multiplayer gameplay. It should also be noted that players can gain at least 100+ hours of gameplay out of Baldur’s Gate 3 making it one of the most addictive RPG’s that we have seen in quite some time. The creator of Baldur’s Gate 3 known as Larian Studios have not expressed any interest in bring the critically acclaimed RPG to the Nintendo Switch. A Switch version of Baldur’s Gate 3 would be pointless considering the fact that Nintendo is just about ready to move on to their ninth generation game console.
