So far 2023 has been a great year in relation to video game releases and anything relating to film or television. Recently, we just learned some interesting news in regards to next year involving Capcom’s Ace Attorney series. Apparently, we are going to see the re-releases of the three main Ace Attorney games next year for multiple consoles. The Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is set to appear on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and Steam for those who are Microsoft Windows users. There has been no mention about The Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy appearing on last generation game systems like PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. This upcoming trilogy of games will feature Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney- Dual Destinies and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney- Spirit of Justice. These three Ace Attorney games came out in America between the mid 2000’s and the early 2010’s for game systems like the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo 3DS. Many people feel that the Ace Attorney series is underrated because you hardly see any visual novel type of games that focuses on litigation. The Ace Attorney games gave players the ability to examine evidence while questioning witnesses and give direct and cross-examinations. Players could also answer questions from the judge and the stories for each Ace Attorney game are divided into multiple cases. Its a good thing that the Ace Attorney trilogy is being re-released in 2024 because it would definitely have been overshadowed this year.
