As a first person shooter title Duke Nukem Advance was very popular on the Game Boy Advance back in the early 00’s. The 3D like gameplay and level design along with the game’s plot contributed to the overall replay value of Duke Nukem Advance. A title such as this could have easily have worked back in the early to mid 90’s for the SNES especially since the Mode 7 feature was popular during that time.

Besides there were hardly any first person shooter titles for the SNES in the early to mid 90’s. While Duke Nukem was big on the Game Boy Advance in the early 00’s it could have been something very special on the 16 bit SNES console. But since the first person shooter genre was not as popular in the 90’s as it was during the 00’s it’s hard to tell if the Duke Nukem game for GBA would have became as popular as it did.
