As many people know Perfect Dark Zero was released in the Fall of 2005 exclusively for the Xbox 360. When it came down to first person shooter games the original Perfect Dark game was a huge success on the Nintendo 64 when it was first released back in the year 2000. Some would think that Rare would have followed up on the original Perfect Dark with some type sequel for the Nintendo GameCube.

On one hand if Perfect Dark Zero was released exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005 the game could have definitely been a success. On the other hand the first person shooter genre of gaming was way more popular on the Xbox 360 during the mid 00’s opposed to the Nintendo GameCube. While Perfect Dark Zero could have shined as a shooter game for the Nintendo GameCube it may not have been quite as popular as Metroid Prime was in the early 00’s.
