There are countless games for the Nintendo Switch that the gaming world is looking forward to seeing. But one of the many titles that stands out in the platform genre of gaming is Owlboy which was developed by D-Pad Studio. Owlboy is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch on February 13th and from the look of things seems like it’s going to be one of the biggest 2D platform titles that well we on the hybrid console in 2018.

The look and feel of the game is reminiscent of something that you would see back in the early 90’s on the Sega Genesis. Also, the idea of having a silent protagonist such as Otis as the main character while traveling through various different dungeons to defeat all kind monsters sounds very simplistic yet adventurous.

When Owlboy was first released back in November 2016 for multiple game consoles it was critically acclaimed as a adventure platform title. One of the best things about Owlboy was the length of time it took to make the game. There was no doubt that that Owlboy was fully polished when it was first released in 2016 after a decade of development. Also, it feels like Owlboy has the potential to stand out more on the Nintendo than it would on the PS4 or the Xbox One.
