When we look back at racing games from the 00’s there are many people who remember when Race Driver: Grid was first released around the summer of 2008 for multiple game consoles including the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Windows. While Race Driver: Grid was one of the most popular games of 2008 there is no doubt that the game was just as difficult for some people as it was exciting. Race Driver: Grid was a game that gave players the ability to open their own shop and compete in races for other groups or themselves to earn money and purchase used or new cars in order to race in countries such as America, Europe and Japan.
However, when it comes down to the actual in game races the artificial intelligence in Race Driver: Grid was arguably one of the toughest that one would find in any racing game period. Generally, races in Grid would only require players to spin out only once before they realize that their chances on finishing in 1st, 2nd or 3rd was almost impossible. The AI in Race Driver: Grid was tough but at the same time that is what made the game more realistic. Also, the flashback feature included in Race Driver: Grid was also a very helpful feature for beginners and is one of the many things that compensates for the level of difficultly this game presents.
