There is no question that Silent  Hill is one of the most popular survival horror games that PS1.  Since its release Silent Hill has managed to sell over 1 million units worldwide for the PS1 which was impressive but there are some who wonder how well the game would have done if it was ported for the Nintendo 64.  

The N64 arguably had better graphics but the console itself had more family friendly games in comparison to the PS1.  If Silent Hill was released for the N64 probably could have done decent in terms of sales but the game probably would not have done as well as it would have on the PS1.
