The idea of having GoldenEye 007 for the PS1 would have been a dream come true for many people who owned the console back in the 90’s.   As a stealth/first person shooter title GoldenEye 007 felt like it was ahead of its time.  The graphics of GoldenEye 007 looked beautiful on the Nintendo 64 back in the late 90’s.

Also, the multiplayer modes for GoldenEye 007 had contributed to the overall replay value of the game itself.  The multiplayer modes had allowed up to four players with various game modes such as “You Only Live Twice”, “Man with the Golden Sun” and “License to Kill”.  As popular as the PS1 was during the mid to late 90’s GoldenEye 007 might not have achieved the same level of success that it did for the N64.
