The Nintendo 64 was one of the most popular game consoles of the 90’s the 64 bit graphics of the N64 was something that many people found appealing which contributed to the console selling over 32 million units worldwide since its release back in 1996.  Despite, how successful the N64 was it still managed to sell less than the SNES.  

Ever since the SNES was first released back in 1990 the console had managed to sell over 49 million units worldwide. While the SNES has sold more overall many would argue that the N64 had better graphics.  But it always seemed like the SNES had more memorable games that are generally harder to find in used game stores.  Either way, it’s debatable on which game console was better overall during the 90’s.
