Super Mario Super Circuit was surprisingly a cool game for the Game Boy Advance and some people wonder how it would have did if it was released for the Nintendo GameCube.  The graphics of the Super Mario Super Circuit were pretty decent considering the fact that the game was not to far removed from Mario Kart 64 which came out in 1996.

Super Mario Super Circuit was also released before Mario Kart Double Dash which was released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2003.  However, the fact Super Mario Super Circuit was released for the Game Boy Advance is what made this stand out since it was on of the first games in the series to be featured on a handheld game console.  In fact if Super Mario Super Circuit was released for GameCube it might not have done as well in terms of sales since the console featured more 3D games oppose to 2D.
