Sonic Adventure and Super Mario Kart 64 were two popular 3D platform titles of the 90’s. While Sonic Adventure for the Sega Dreamcast arguably had better graphics since it was featured on the 128 bit Sega Dreamcast Super Mario 64 has sold more units worldwide on the N64. Since its release Super Mario 64 has managed to sell over 11 million units worldwide and is probably the best platform title for the N64.

Sonic Adventure on the other hand allows people to play as six different characters which each one of them having their own stories with all of them interconnecting towards the end. Even though, Sonic Adventure allowed people to play as multiple characters Super Mario 64 was far beyond what many fans of the series thought it would be. The concept of entering painting to enter new worlds along with the level designs, soundtracks and collecting 120 stars to complete the game was mind blowing. But in terms of actually choosing between which game was better back in the 90’s is tough overall.
