There is no doubt that the 00’s was one of the best time periods to be a fan of gaming. Not only did 3D gaming improve in terms of visual quality on consoles like Xbox, PS2, PS3, GameCube and the Wii but people also had a chance to enjoy 32 bit gameplay on the Game Boy Advance. While the SNES had some unforgettable classics such as Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda Link to the Past, F-Zero, Chrono Trigger and many others the GBA had awesome games as well.
Unlike the SNES the Game Boy Advance had titles such as Pokémon Silver and Gold along with Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories which was one of the most innovative RPG titles that we have seen for that console. Also, when it comes down to sales the GBA technically sold more worldwide by reaching over 81 million units worldwide in over nine years.

The SNES on the other hand reached over 49 million units worldwide in over twelve years which is still good considering the fact that 2D gaming started to decline in popularity with the emergence of advanced 3D gaming in the early 00’s. While the GBA may have sold more than the SNES its still hard for many retro gamers to choose between the two in terms of which is better.
