Super Mario Maker was a popular title for the Nintendo Wii U when it was first released in the Fall of 2015.  Since Super Mario Maker was released in 2015 it had managed to sell over 3 million units worldwide for the Wii U.  The had also managed to sell over 2 million units worldwide for the Nintendo 3DS which was also impressive as well.

The idea of players being able to create various different levels using graphics from past Super Mario games from the 8 and 16 bit era was something that easily appealed to retro and modern gamers.  Also, being able to publish the levels you created online was probably one of the main features that attracted people to Super Mario Maker.  Along with many other titles that should be ported or receive some type of sequel for the Nintendo Switch Super Mario Maker is definitely one of those games that should be featured on Nintendo’s latest game system.
