We all know that Virtual Reality is starting to become a big thing in the gaming world.  Also, companies such as Sony have games that include Virtual Reality features.  The fact that Atari is making a comeback in the gaming industry that many people are anxious to see.  If Atari does release the Atari box late this year or in 2018 than having Virtual Reality based games would definitely give the company the edge over rivals such as Nintendo and their Switch console.

If Atari does plan making Virtual Reality gameplay as a significant part of their strategy to turn heads it would be interesting to see how things will turn.  However, The Ataribox would probably be better off using a CD based format for their games opposed to cartridges if they want to pull of Virtual Reality.
