When comes down to action adventure third person shooting games of the 00’s There were countless titles that many people had enjoyed for the PS2. There were games such as Grand Theft Auto Vice City (2002), Scarface: The World is Yours (2006), Saint’s Row (2006) which were all very popular during that decade and went on to sell millions of units throughout the world.

The Godfather video game was released for various consoles such as Xbox, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii between 2006 and 2007. The game was developed by EA Redwood Shores and is based of the classic 70’s movie directed by Francis Ford Coppola. However, of the biggest controversies regarding this game was the fact that Francis Ford Coppola reportedly had no input about the development of the game itself.
Despite, the director’s lack of involvement in the game it did feature some scenes from the actual movie along with voice acting from the likes of Robert Duvall, Sonny Corleone, James Caan and others. Unfortunately, Al Pacino was not featured in the game itself due to his appearance in Scarface: The World Is Yours which was developed by Radical Entertainment and also released in 2006 for game consoles such as PS2, Xbox and the Nintendo Wii. Since its release on various consoles The Godfather has sold over one million units worldwide on the PS2 which great despite the controversy surrounding the game itself.
