As many know Alienware  is considered to be among the most advanced gaming computer on the market right now.  The average cost for a laptop produced by Alienware ranges between $1,500 and $2,000.  The prices for the laptops produced by Alienware makes console such as the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch look like a joke.  If the world ever got to see a home based Alienware console in over 30 different countries that would very interesting.  However, competing with the likes of Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft in the gaming industry would prove to be a huge challenge in practice.  

Not only would keeping up with the likes of Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo prove to be a tough the rise of virtual reality gameplay is something that Alienware developers would have to be mindful off as well.   Alienware has been around since the mid 90’s and has remained a subsidiary of Dell since 2006.  If Alienware had ever planned to develop a home based some would  argue that the company would have had a better chance of making a success back in the early 00’s than it would nowadays.
