Gameshark was so popular back in the 90’s and the early 00’s.  When it came down to completing video games having some hell or cheats was always something that was useful since most games were harder back in day then they are now.   Having Gamesharks for consoles such Nintendo 64, PlayStation and Game Boy was useful for people who did not have the internet to obtain codes from gaming websites.

  It was also useful for people who did not purchase publications for games that provided the cheat codes to help people complete whatever game they were playing.  If we got Gameshark for modern day consoles such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo 3DS that would be something that many people would probably spend a decent amount off money on.  However, since the cost of gaming has increased dramatically since the 90’s in the late 90’s its questionable.  Along with online gaming and various other accessories for today’s console we only imagine how much a Gameshark would cost for modern consoles.
