Is Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare underrated?

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare from ‘16 is a game that considered to be a solid first person shooter game by many critics and gaming publications. While Infinite Warfare may not be considered among the very best within the Call Of Duty series ; it stands out from installments that preceded it mainly because it had a different look and feel to it. Unlike, popular titles such as Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare or Black Ops I & II; Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare looked more a Mass Effect game than anything else. The futuristic theme that Infinity Ward and Activision had decided to go with was something that long time fans of the series were turned off by. While the campaign mode in Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare was subjected to some criticism; there were many who praised certain aspects it had such as the polished dialogue and character development. The campaign mode in Infinite Warfare was probably the main feature about the game that stood out the most. The multiplayer mode included in Infinite Warfare could have been better but there many who loved Zombies.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare was not nearly as bad as Black Ops III from ‘15 but it was not quite as good as Black Ops IV from 2018. Along with the campaign mode the level designs within Infinite Warfare was one among several strengths that the game had. Infinite Warfare also provided many other exciting features for players including deep customization options and a multiplayer game mode that supported up to eighteen players at once. Following its initial release in ‘16 the game reached over 4.7 million in sales mainly because there were die hard fans of the series who played Call Of Duty games no matter what. Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare was not necessarily a bad game despite having its flaws; but to say that its underrated would imply that it was not that good of a game at all. For a first person shooter title Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare was a title that casual gamers could definitely sink their teeth into.
