Will Bioshock 4 appear on the PS5 & Xbox Series X by the mid 20’s?

As many people know the Bioshock series has been around since ‘07 since the PS3/Xbox 360 era of gaming. There are many people around the world who are huge fans of the first person shooter series and have been wanting to see a new game for years now. The latest installment within the Bioshock series came out in 2013 and since then we have not heard any announcements from 2K Games regarding a fourth installment. Even though, its been at least eight years since the release of Bioshock: Infinite it does not necessarily mean that the series is dead. But then again, the developers of Bioshock Infinite 2K Boston along with 2K Australia both became defunct during the mid 10’s. Since that time period the overall fate of the Bioshock series has been questionable. But since 2K Games still exists then the possibility of a Bioshock 4 is not completely out of the question. After all, the Bioshock series was highly successful commercially between the late 00’s and early 10’s. Bioshock: Infinite managed to reach over eleven million in sales and is often regarded as a stronger entry than its predecessor from 2010. However, some people would mutually agree that the very for installment from ‘07 was the best.

The gameplay for the original Bioshock game was arguably the best because of various features including its story, atmosphere, along with its gameplay. The first Bioshock game felt like a sandbox shooter type of game with more depth than its two predecessors. Bioshock: Infinite was considered to be a great game in general with fantastic storytelling and exciting yet challenging gameplay. As far rumors are concerned in relation to a Bioshock 4 it was revealed in late 2020; that a developer known as Cloud Chamber will be working on a new installment for the series. As currently stands Cloud Chamber are actively looking to hire employees to work on the upcoming Bioshock game. Its way too early to discuss a release date regarding the next Bioshock game. In fact, we may not see a Bioshock 4 until the mid 20’s which will make it one of the most highly anticipated first person shooters of the decade.
